Byron Marshall - Senior Expert

Byron has expertise in check processing, electronic banking services, cash management operations, remittance processing, and banking regulation. In his time at Global Concepts Byron has been involved in projects in a variety of areas including:

• Institutional development of performance metrics
• Process improvement, performance analysis, and staff level optimization in check processing, remittance processing, and electronic banking
• Providing subject matter, analytical, and statistical expertise to performance measurement, product development, and research consulting assignments
• Developing payments strategy
• Performance benchmarking studies in Item Processing, Cash Vault Operations, ACH, Wire Transfer, Wholesale Lockbox, and Remittance Processing

Before rejoining Global Concepts in 2003, Byron served as an Assistant Bank Examiner for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York where he was involved in assessing institutional risk and regulatory compliance. Early in his career, he designed and implemented performance measure, risk tracking, and customer service applications for Republic Bank and Trust Company's bank card division.

Byron received a Master of Business administration from Rice University in Houston Texas and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Georgia. Additionally, Byron has earned a certificate in International Finance from the State University of West Georgia in conjunction with the University of London.
