John Mateker - Senior Expert

John is a recognized expert in the areas of remittance, check processing, cash management operations, and image-based systems for both check and document imaging. He has 25 years of banking industry experience and has managed numerous operational areas including Item processing, float management, cash vault operations, remittance processing, statement operations and electronic banking.

John has been with Global Concepts since 2000 and during that time, his accomplishments have included:

Reducing operating expenses, improving productivity, and improving the quality of the service offerings at a major regional bank’s lockbox operation.
Helping a lockbox system vendor better understand their competitors in their market space.
Helping establish the future strategy of check processing for a large mid-western financial institution.
Assisting several large organizations in developing RFP’s for image archives and helping decide which vendor solution best matched their organizational needs.
Developing and supporting a number of organizations in RFP’s for technology enhancements and/or outsourcing arrangements.
Assisting institutions with their assessment of risk and fraud detection capabilities.
Helping multinational financial institutions develop a strategy for Cash Management service offerings in both the U.S. and in Brazil.
Conversion and installation of CPCS from SuperMICR and consolidation of two sites into a single site.
Helping in the consolidation of item processing sites at several financial institutions.
Design and installation of enterprise-wide image platforms
Installation of an image-based system to file and store Mortgage documents related to the purchasing of mortgage loans and mortgage-backed securities.
