Vikram Kotecha - Expert

Vikram Kotecha is Practice Expert in McKinsey & Company’s Global Concepts office. Since joining McKinsey, he has managed a number of research-driven initiatives and has also provided consulting expertise in the areas of cash management, competitive analysis and market assessment. His engagements include:

• Developed a three-year growth strategy for a financial institution, identifying revenue-generating as well as risk reducing strategies

• Designed a business plan for a mid-sized US bank, stressing importance of Payments-related activities on sustained growth

• Created a market survey and authored report to gauge demand for treasury management products amongst commercial banking clients – indentified key growth areas to streamline sales efforts

• Managed US Payments Map – a detailed model which forecasted the revenues, costs and profitability of the US Payments industry

Vikram holds a BA (Honors Economics) from Concordia University, Canada, and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
