Cash Management Forum Member Benefits

The Cash Management Forum allows leading experts in the treasury services industry to openly question the merits of new technologies, to argue the importance of market trends, and to share ideas about how to manage diverse resources in ways that increase client profitability and value. The members of the Cash Management Forum, comprising the heads of Cash Management and senior managers from Product Management, Sales, and Operations at over 30 North American financial institutions, bring vast experience and insight to the table. In return, Global Concepts enables members to draw lessons from one another through interactive meetings and detailed summaries of the proceedings. Global Concepts also probes issues of particular concern to Forum members in research reports prepared exclusively for the Cash Management Forum.

Global Concepts provides the following deliverables to members of the Cash Management Forum:

Three Meetings Each Year

The Cash Management Forum convenes three times each year. Meetings consist of case study presentations, panel discussions, and discussion of Global Concepts’ research. The schedule allows ample time for casual conversation over dinner and cocktails as well as rigorous examination of presented material. Financial institution members may send up to five registered delegates to each of the Cash Management Forum’s three annual meetings. Technology providers may send up to three delegates to each meeting.

Three Strategic Research Reports

Global Concepts’ staff continually examine the trends, technologies, and strategies driving the treasury services industry. In response to the needs and preferences of the membership, Global Concepts develops an original research report and presents the findings for discussion by members at each the three meetings of the Cash Management Forum. Recent reports have studied the integration of bank payment systems with corporate accounting systems, organizational structure and its relation to resource allocation, profitability measurement, risk management, and customer service.

Three Detailed Meeting Summaries

Global Concepts’ detailed summary of each session relieves attendees of the burden of taking exhaustive notes. This allows members to take advantage of the extraordinary opportunity to engage their peers from across the treasury services industry in substantive, analytical discussion of bank case studies and Global Concepts’ research. Following each meeting, members receive a compendium of 20-40 pages recounting the presentations, questions, and discussion. Meeting summaries also serve as a valuable reference to share with non-attending members and often replace attendee trip reports.

Three Speaker Presentation Booklets

For each meeting of the Forum, Global Concepts prepares a booklet of speakers’ PowerPoint presentations. The booklet ensures that all members of the audience have a clear view of each speaker’s slides, regardless of where they sit in the audience. It also supports the lively audience-wide discussions for which the Cash Management Forum is known. Attendees have found the booklet to be a convenient format for taking notes and sharing information with colleagues unable to attend the meeting.

Web Access to Deliverables

Research reports, meeting summaries, and presentation slides are all available in electronic format from Global Concepts’ Web site. The online availability of these Cash Management Forum deliverables enables all members of your organization to benefit from member discussions and Global Concepts’ research. Instead of photocopying documents or forwarding them via email, individuals who were unable to attend can be supplied with the company’s login ID and password to retrieve Cash Management Forum deliverables as needed.
